Candle Fire Safety Instruction:
Candle Fire Safety tips, please take extra care when burning candles. Please make sure you read and follow the safety instruction below:
Memory Burn - Please light your candle for at least 3 hours each time you burn the candle or long enough to melt the candle wax all the way to the edge. The size of the wax pool during the first burn determines the life of the candle; subsequent burns won't melt the wax beyond the initial wax pool, so if it didn't melt close enough to the edge of the candle, tunnelling can occur.
* Place a lit candle on a heat-resistant surface.
* Do not burn the candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of any draughts and away from curtains, fabrics and furniture. Away from clothing and hair.
* Burn candles out of the reach of children and pets.
* Once a candle is lit, it should not be put out until after the first layer of wax has melted all the way across. Do not burn for more than 2 to 4 hours max depending on the size of the candle. For smaller candles e.g Travel Tins, you should only burn a candle for 2 to 3 hours. This is purely from a safety point of view.
* Make sure the wick is trimmed to 5mm before lighting.
* Don't let anything hazardous fall into the hot wax e.g matchsticks.
*Keep candles dust free, never leave a match in the candle.
* Keep candles 10cm apart from other candles.
* Never touch or move a candle the container may become hot when in use.
*Never use liquid that includes water to extinguish a flame. The water can cause the hot wax to spatter and the candle continer to break. If the candle can't be extinguished easily cover with a damp cloth.
* It’s recommend that you do not burn the last remaining 1cm of wax at the bottom of the jar.
* Always double-check that your candle is completely out and not still smouldering.

Making environmentally friendly candles using carefully sourced fragrance oils, professional grade container wax with the stability and scent throw of mineral wax, keeping packaging to a minimum. All products are handmade in small batches and can be made to order.
Wax Melt Clam Shells are made with PET plastic, fully recyclable with a very high recycled content.
Candles are made from a blend of natural vegetable wax with the stability and scent throw of mineral wax, vegan friendly wicks and an infusion of fragrance oils. Selection includes well known fragrances, these are currently available in various types of candle containers. Candles and Wax Melts can be made to order.
Diffusers are made from ECO friendly base oil with an infusion of fragrance oil. Diffuser refills are available.
Boxes are ethically manufactured in Yorkshire using 100% recycled or FSC certified board.

Description Title
If your candles are smoking or tunnelling, you need to stop doing these 4 things.
Every time your candle tunnels or kicks up plumes of black smoke, you're wasting quality burning time—but there are some easy ways to prevent this. It is, according to experts, down to how you care for your candles.
1. Blowing them out too early can result in something called 'tunnelling'. Tunnelling is where only the central part of the wax melts,
When burning your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the vessel.
2.Before each burn it’s important to remove any unnecessary burnt wick, trimming the wick to about 5mm above the wax top.This will ensure that the candle doesn’t give off any black smoke and will avoid the wick turning in on itself, causing what is known as mushrooming. Mushrooming creates a larger flame, which at best will burn through your candle much faster than it should, but at worst can overheat the container.
3.Use a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle neatly, if you can. Blowing your candle out can cause hot wax to splatter against the container and make a mess.
4.While leaving your candles to burn to the edges on the first light is very important, it's equally as important to not let them burn for too long. Never burn the candle for longer than four hours at a time, regardless of the wax type. Burning for longer than this can overheat the vessel, and the wax will burn through much faster than it should. Do not leave your Candle to burn to the bottom of the glass as this can cause then to overheat and explode

Remove all packaging from item, unscrew the lid and remove the plastic stopper. Re-fit the lid, making sure the lid fits securely,gently shake the bottles so that the liquid contacts the wooden inner lid. This will release the fragrance. If you feel the strength of the fragrance has weakened, shake the bottle a little so the oil touches the wood, this will refresh the scent again.

Caring for your Candle.
BY FOLLOWING A FEW SIMPLE TIPS IT'S POSSIBLE TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF EACH ONE OF OUR LOVINGLY HANDMADE PRODUCTS.
For optimum use and to prevent wax tunnelling, burn the candle until the wax has melted and pooled to the edge, between 3 to 4 hours no longer. Allow candle to solidify before re-lighting. Trim the wick between uses, ensuring it is no longer than ¼ inch/5mm. Protect the surface on which the candle rests. Do not leave unattended or within reach of children or pets.
How To Store Your Candle:
When your candle isn't in use, store in a cool dry place to protect the quality wax from dust, which can dull its scent and cause problems during burning.
Condensation on the surface of a candle is a sign it has not been stored correctly, or has been stored for too long. Make sure to wipe this away with a paper towel before lighting.
Storing candles for too long can affect the scent, so use your candle in a reasonable time to make the most of its beautiful fragrance.
Do not leave your Candle to burn to the bottom of the glass as this can cause then to overheat and explode.

Candle Safety Tips
Please read the below safety rules before using your candle.
Always keep a burning candle within sight. Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Be sure the wick ember is no longer glowing.
* Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc.
* Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets.
* Trim candlewick to 5 mm each time before burning. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, flickering and shooting. Sometimes soot marks appear on the glass but these are easily removed with a damp cloth.
* Always use a candle-holder specifically designed for candle use. The holder should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax.
* Be sure the candle-holder is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This can help prevent heat damage to underlying surfaces and prevent glass containers from breaking.
* Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
* Never burn any candle for more than 4 hours.
* Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents. This will help prevent rapid, uneven burning, and avoid flame flare-ups and sooting. Drafts can also blow nearby lightweight items into the flame where they could catch fire.
* Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Don’t burn too many candles in a small room or in a “tight” home where air exchange is limited.
* Don’t burn a candle all the way down. Extinguish the flame if it comes too close to the holder or container. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 5mm of wax remains.
* Never touch or move a burning candle or container candle when the wax is liquid.
* Never use a knife or sharp object to remove wax drippings from a glass holder. It might scratch, weaken, or cause the glass to break upon subsequent use.
* Place burning candles at least 10 cm apart from one another. This helps ensure they don’t melt one another, or create their own drafts to cause improper burning.
* Use a snuffer to extinguish a candle. It’s the safest way to prevent hot wax splatters.
* Never extinguish candles with water. The water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might cause a glass container to break.
* Candle fires sometimes occur when the flame reaches the bottom of the container and the small amount of wax remaining is heated to higher temperatures. Any contaminants in the wax pool are also more likely to catch fire at this point. It’s recommend that you do not burn the last ~1cm of wax.
* Be very careful if using candles during a power outage. Flashlights and other battery-powered lights are safer sources of light during a power failure.
* Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high. The candle isn’t burning properly. Cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before relighting.
* Never use a candle as a night light.

How Do I Use Them?
Our Wax Melts are highly fragranced 6 piece bars, with each cube giving off fragrance for between 5-10 hours, meaning each bar packs a punch of up to 100 hours of fragrance. Free from parabens and phlathates, each bar is 100% vegan and cruelty free. Our packing is 100% recycleable. We pour our wax melts in small batches, with care and attention.
Use a ceramic burners with a tea light candle, and simply pop a cube on the top, sit back and breath in the fragrance. If you fancy something a little stronger, just pop in another cube (depending on the size of your burner), likewise, for a less intence throw, you can halve one of the cubes. Once the fragrance has all been released (at least 2 or 3 burns), you can easily tip or wipe this out with cotton wool/Kitchen roll, whilst in its melted state.

Where To Place A Diffuser.

Larger rooms may require all the reeds to be used, or more than one diffuser depending on preferred strength.
Smaller rooms may not need as many reeds in one vessel. Add a few to test, then increase as necessary, until the desired scent level is reached.
First of all, you have to position the reed diffuser properly. It is always a good idea to settle for a high traffic area. Fragrance can easily disperse all over the room with the help of air
circulation. Or other good place that can help you dispense the fragrance all around is close to the door. This will help the room get the aroma.
Gently remove the stopper from the glass vessel. Carefully place the reeds inside the vessel. All of our diffusers use rattan reeds which are naturally porous, allowing for the gradual absorption of the liquid moving up the reeds. Place reeds into the oil, then allow 24-36 hours for the fragrance to diffuse for the continuous scent surround
experience.
Every 2 weeks flip the sticks so that the "dry" side of the sticks is now closest to the bottle and the saturated end is in the air. Place unsaturated (dry) end of the sticks into the bottle. Let your reed diffuser naturally permeate your space.
Reed diffusers will continue to evaporate into the air, creating a subtle and luxurious scent.
Fragrance will last for around 3-4 months.
The diffusers are like a bunch of flowers. When you pass it, you will smell the fragrance. It might not fill the whole room with the scent, but it will give you a tint of the fragrance when you are around it!
Diffuser Safety Information
Please follow our tips to enjoy a purer scent experience and maintain their high quality for longer.
The reed diffusers should last up to 3 to 4 months. If you notice the fragrance intensity is weakening, we suggest flipping the reeds, every 2 weeks, to get the best possible fragrance performance. If the fragrance is to strong reduce the number of reeds.
*The temperature of a room is very important as higher temperatures speed up diffusion. While the strength of the scent will increase, the life of the diffuser will be shortened. Avoid placing diffusers next to radiators to prolong scent release.
* Do not light reeds. Diffusers reeds passively diffuse the scent into the room, so no flame is needed. Flammable liquid.
*Do not ingest the reed diffuser oil. Do not drink reed diffuser oil.
*Always keep out of reach of young children and pets.
*People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be cautious when using diffusers.
*Use gloves when handling used reeds. If skin irritation occurs seek medical advice.
*Diffuser liqid may damage and permanently mark some surfaces. Therefore do not place diffusers directly on polished, painted, plastic, fabric or leather surfaces. So, to safeguard the countertop/surfaces use a coasters and or plates can be beneficial.
*Take care to protect your surfaces during use. Please refer to all recommendations listed on the packaging.
*Do not place on electrical equipment spillages may cause damage.
*Diffuser base oil is a solvent made from renewable source, eco friendly fragrance enhancing low odour oil and non toxic.

How do you use a Car Diffuser
First unscrew the cover of the Car Diffuser and remove the inner stopper of the bottle before securely screwing the cover back on. Then tilt the bottle upside down for around 10 seconds to allow the wooden lid to absorb the fragrance. You can adjust the string to your preferred height, hanging the bottle upright in your vehicle.
We take no responsibility for misuse of the product. This car perfume is not for wearing, avoid contact with skin and furnishings.
Please wipe any spillages immediately toavoid damage to surfaces.
Room Spray Safety Information
Spray onto items from at least 15 inches away.
